Help make a difference in your community! Pride is a 501(c)(3) organization that is always grateful for our volunteers. Help us plan the next LancPride Festival and make 365 days of pride a reality! We are seeking volunteers who are willing to help out within any level in the organization. Our goal is to build a diverse multicultural organization with members from all walks of life and perspectives.
Currently we have an immediate need in the following committees:
Lancaster Pride Committees
The Community Outreach committee is responsible for maintaining and building relationships with NGOs, and Community Stakeholders. This may involve everything from recruiting advisors, planning collaborative events, and creating community input meetings.
The goal of this committee is to plan and manage the festival. This will include managing volunteers, and working with vendors and other stakeholders to ensure a successful event. The Logistics committee will determine the necessary resources, material and equipment, and work with other committees to ensure that all resource requirements are fulfilled.
The volunteer committee is responsible for finding and recruiting volunteers, committee members, and board members. They ensure that volunteer needs are met for events, and coordinate with the event and logistics committees to determine the number of volunteers required. They are responsible for screening potential volunteers and board members.
The event committee is responsible for planning and executing events. They determine the budget and fundraising model for the events. They are responsible for lining up entertainment and venues for the event.
The fundraising committee is responsible for creating and executing a sponsorship strategy. They are responsible for securing sponsorships for events, and the Festival. They are also responsible for managing donor relationships and running the Extra Give
